Candid Contest Entry

This photo was taken on the last day I saw my mom alive. She went in the hospital right before Thanksgiving 2 years ago and unfortunately declined and passed away 2 days before Christmas. The last few days were tough as we watched her succumb to her illness. I took this photo to remember the love we shared and keep her close to my heart forever. Some may think it's morbid but it comforts me knowing I have this image.
