Birds Photos Contest Entry

This beautiful crane was grazing along the water's edge when I saw it. I moved to grab a shot and the other crane on the opposite side of the channel, decided to leave. I managed to catch this one starting to follow its friend to the far end of the pond. They are often seen together so I think they are mates. I've tried to catch them together a few times but they rarely stay still long enough to get both in the same clear shot.

Mixed Media: Minor | Photo taken with my phone. Slight adjustment in Photoshop to cut down on the glare/white out effect and sharpen a bit. Also had to reduce size for submission.
