On April 27, 2011, a deadly outbreak of tornadoes swept across the South causing mass destruction. On that day alone 293 tornadoes touched down, majority of them were EF2 or higher. Everything needed for tornadoes were not just there but was there in abundance. Tornadoes were not just form, but form and stay on the ground for a while ( like 2 hours and over 100 miles). This particular tornado was rated EF4 with winds of 190 mph. This is when the tornado first touched down in Tuscaloosa and started rolling through the south side of town causing mass destruction (2.4 billion dollars to be exact). This picture caught my attention so I sat down and being to draw the picture. This took a good bit of time making sure I had the tent and shade. In nature there is good and bad, this is bad. Showcasing the size and uniqueness of this tornado in particular.
