~Walking the Walk~ There comes a time when Truth prevails no matter what the circumstance for faith o?rcomes all certain pain and stumbling now the newest dance To some each day is joy alive and trials come in even stride While others struggle just to cope their life a roller coaster ride Your life may have its ups and downs Yet fortitude precedes a goal When gratitude becomes your aim an inner peace will make you whole Your home is not on "Easy street" Denial cannot rule your thoughts Choices come and choices go of how to handle any lot When others criticize your life Their lying tongues accuse to ploy Words become like stones now cast a sad attempt to steal your joy They do not know the stones they throw are stepping stones to get you through one by one just rearrange a path toward a better view Strong weapons are not carnal knives Choose speaking words of life and love A ready two edged sword, your tongue Have hope their hearts are drawn above To rise above all pain and strife when anger tries to manifest is needed purpose in our souls to bring you to a life of rest Have plans to know when trials come Let smiles remain upon your face for your reward is inner joy between THE ROCK and a hard place © Copyright 2011 Jewell Jeffery (McChesney) All rights reserved.
