This black cat's eye is glowing in the depths of the dark night. He's staring, waiting, preparing to pounce on whatever comes his way. He's ready to face the next enemy. His eye says it all.
I created this piece using a range of colored pencils, black markers, and oil pastels to create an attractive scene of a bright iris atop the dark furs of this cat's face. The blending of colors makes the iris glow, adding a nice pop to the creation.
