I painted this semi-abstract modern oil painting a couple of years ago on an 18"x24" canvas board. I tried to capture the raw energy of a boat battling a fierce sea storm. Bold, sweeping strokes and vibrant colours convey the turmoil of nature, blending reality and abstraction to evoke a powerful sense of motion and chaos.
