One of my favorite genres of art is poster art-- lithography in particular. I love the work of the French artist Jules Cheret (1836-1932). I also love to look at Chinese lithographs. This inspired this piece which I call The Warrior. It features a bold and powerful sword-wielding warrior in defensive stance. He's wearing a vibrant colored robe. The background is dine in a dynamic green with Chinese inspired motifs placed not only around the border of the print, but also on the warrior's robe. Chinese script and its translation are in bold red. Together, these various components -- I think-- convey the majesty of The Warrior. Enjoy!
