I was out looking for pictures to take and almost walked into this hovering bumblebee. There was another bumble bee on the Passion Flower ( in the upper right corner of the flower... you can only slightly see it) and she was waiting for her turn. She actually flew in close a couple of times then backed up and continued hovering. I don't think I've ever seen a bee do that before. The bee had to wait for a while which gave me time to get some shots in. Besides those facts, I think this was the biggest bumblebee I'd ever seen. WOW! Hope you enjoy!
