Photograph of the Month Contest Winner
On March 6th, 1890 a fellow by the name of Eugene Schieffelin, along with the American Acclimatization Society, imported (from Europe) and then, subsequently released 60 starlings into New York. His supposed goal? Introduce all the bird species mentioned in William Shakespeare's plays to America. More than 125 years and 200 million starlings later - here are three, seemingly having a meeting. LOL
