Being out an about this morning, I saw this gentleman launch this kayak. I thought it was just gorgeous. To top it off, he built it from a kit. Most of the wood is high quality cedar strips. The bottom has a carbon fiber layer for strength. It weighs just 22 pounds. I was impressed. (It cost about $1,200 for the kit.)
