Urbanism Photography Contest Entry

Taken while on vacation in Sydney, Australia. A beautiful city in a wild country. To think that this city was a wasteland in the 1800's. Was populated initially by convicts from England, who for the most part committed what would be thought of as minor crimes today.
They worked and toiled to scratch out an existence and to flourish, only later to be moved by the British Government to a deserted island now known as Tasmania, to start all over again. A true story of survival.
