Color Green Photo Contest Contest Entry

This is a female Painted Bunting. She is a relatively small bird that migrates through south Florida every year. Her mate, which is so much more colorful, was close by. In observing their behavior, I have noticed that the female will come check out the feeder and bird bath first, before the male. The males are definitely more skittish, the females I've been able to get quite close to when taking pictures. Taken with my Canon EOS 90D. f/5.6, 1/20 sec., ISO-100, 0 step, 300mm, max ap 5, no flash, no tripod.
