Urbanism Art Contest Entry

A city is known to create people. I believe people create a city. Life does not create people, people create life. At 63, 2 years ago, my hubby and I could not take Communist Southern California anymore. It was far from the life I grew up with. So we took a leap of faith and moved 2108 miles to Northen Alabama knowing no family or friends. I could not be happier. I have a porch swing. It is my Happy Place. At night especially after a rain I sit on my swing and listen to bullfrogs and Jojo the miniature donkey down the street. I do not think this would happen in a Communist California.
