Back in October of 2024 I took what I thought would be my last photo, which I posted, of a Bluebird until the coming spring - NOT! On January 5, 2025 these guys showed up, 3 males, 4 maybe 5 females and 1 juvenile. I did a little independent research and found out that on uncommonly rare occasions for reasons yet unclear a flock will decide to winter over. That works for me. The morning I shot this post the temp was 0 degrees F (-17.7 C). I'll bet their conversation went something like this: Bird on left, "Well, here we are home sweet home. Lots of food, and no cats - just a little brisk." Bird on right, "Brisk you say! Boss, this ain't my usual shade of blue. Why can't we go to Orlando?"... Bob
