Winged Balancing Act

This was taken shortly after their arrival at our feeders. This guy was very persistent and repeatedly tried landing on the perch. After a morning of successive attempts, he finally got the right angle and speed to glid up and land squarely on the perch - a couple of the other birds learned the technique and are just as adept at landing on the chickadee feeder. I think it's the morning light of this that appeals so much to me. There were no adjustments to color vibrance/saturation... Bob
