Pine Siskins

I saw one lonely looking Pine Siskin the other day. So, I asked it if it would like to stay and feed from my feeder. The Siskin replied, "Stay and eat! Certainly, I will but only for this day. And say, can I call my parents and siblings for they too can only stay the day." said the siskin as he flew away. Hooray says I for at least a day I have Siskins who will stay. In a Hummingbirds heartbeat after filling my feeders I heard the beat of many wings, could this be the Siskins come to stay. There were so many Siskins that came to stay this day it would have made Sir Alfred Hitchcock nervous. With the feeder emptied their stay is complete; with the synchronous beating of wings, they rose as one and moved on. Except for one lone Siskin who stayed to say, "We will not be back this way today and when we return, I cannot say." Hope you all like the shot... Bob
