If you look at the description for "Family Art" contest it does ask for a family but does not specify that it has to be human. If they wanted Human only it would be put into the rules wouldn't they? It wasn't. Now don't wish me luck on this work yet for being imaginative on this entry. I have not seen the committee vote on any art creation from the past contests that appeared imaginative. Based on past voting they judge just to a basic rules of the contest and nothing extra. No Imagination. One fine example was the past Pet Art contest. There was multiple wins from 1st thru 3rd (5 or 6 winners i think)..and every one was a facial portrait of a dog..colored in backgrounds nothing else..that's it..just dogs. Mine was several Cats all dressed like you see kids now days and taking a selfie of themselves with the framing done as a cell phone. So since I did cats, not dogs, and my work is always a cartoon, i reckon they feel that cartoons are not wanted..oh well..i do question the experience of the contest committee. STOP DREAMING....START DOING...AND DON'T EVER STOP BELIEVING IN YOURSELF! wink
