I typically avoid photographing birds or other wild creatures on man-made objects. However, this little guy just set up too nice of a pose to ignore. Perhaps I could have done a decent job of removing the black metal part of the feeder in Photoshop and replacing it with a tree branch but that would have been way too much work for this particular image:)
