This was actually set up in my front yard early in the morning to take advantage of the even light, using the top of a large cardboard box as the base for the photo. I then added old pine needles, leaves and pine cones that I got from under the pine trees, and added a doe skull. The Polyphemus moths were some that i had reared the previous year and had emerged from cocoons a couple of days earlier.The hardest part of this set up was getting the moths to stay in place and not crawl around or fly off, which sometimes happens. Final image had sharpness and brightness adjusted, added and adjusted glow and vintage filters, some color saturation.
