Mixed Media: None | I first sketched the basic outline of the dog with regular pencils. I then began coloring the eyes in. I don't proceed until I can feel the life coming from the eyes. Then, I colored the rest.

I first did an outline off the dog and made sure key parts of the face were in the right place. I then began coloring the eyes. I think I always spend more time on drawing eyes than any other part. If I can't tell exactly what animal this is by just the eyes, I don't proceed until I can. I then continue with the rest of the drawing doing the nose and mouth next and then the fur.
