I always imagined the Jesus of Nazareth's depiction of Jesus best fit my idea of what He really looked like. I wanted to attempt to capture his image, especially his piercing blue eyes. I decided to do the entire drawing in graphite pencil, except add the blue to his eyes. I first drew the eyes. If you can tell who it is just by seeing the eyes, I feel you are on the right track. I then continued with the rest of the face and crown of thorns
