Nature Photo Contest Contest Entry

Headed out on first morning at South Padre with a 100-500mm lens at the ready. Plan was to be set up and ready for some bird in flight action long before the sun lit up the beach. On a whim, I turned on my focus tracking and took a few series of shots of small birds flying across the sunrise view. Was I ever stunned that it worked! I now have this image as my desktop background on my Macbook Pro. I can almost hear the waves and feel the morning breeze...
