I took this shot 3 years ago during my visit to Chennai (formerly Madras). This was at the Kapaleeshwarar Temple. The occasion was the Tamil New Year celebrations. I visited along with my family members (my wife hails from this place) and attended an elaborate festive celebration. The illumination there was mind-blowing. The Kapaleeshwarar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva. It is located in Mylapore, Chennai, in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The temple was built around the 7th century CE and is an example of South Indian architecture. Camera: Canon Sx130 Is. No mixed media. No adjustment.
