Back to my favorite birding site, Nida Point, located on the east side of an area known as Cumberland Pool. This location makes up more than half of the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma. With the recent extremely heavy rains, most of the refuge is closed or at least inaccessible by vehicle due to flooding. However, that did not prevent me from walking from the barricades down to the water's edge with camera in hand!
