This is an interpretation of a 'shack in the woods' set in a distant world where even the trees remember the stars.

They called it a shack, but it pulsed like a living shell beneath twin moons and glowing trees.
Nestled among spiralled trees and glowing crystals, the structure looked like a fallen shell from a celestial being—its curves smooth and alive, like they had been shaped by stardust and wind. On the alien world of Lorael, this was the only shelter for light-years.
Ilari, a glowing being of light, had fallen from the stars and changed everything—crystals bloomed, winds whispered dreams. Tonight, she stood with her two companions before the shack. Her glow brightened, no longer containable. She stepped inside, the structure opening like it remembered her.
A golden spiral rose into the sky. She wasn’t gone—she had returned to the stars. The shack stood still again, warm and waiting, as if holding a secret older than time.
The companions waited.
Ilari was gone.
Or perhaps she had finally gone home.

This is how I created the artwork:

I used an AI image creation tool to bring my vision of a surreal and otherworldly forest scene to life. My goal was to break away from the typical "woodsy cabin" and push into the realm of cinematic science fiction. I fed rough images to the tool of what I had visualised and entered the following visual prompt:
"A unique, futuristic shack on a distant planet during the day. Strange alien vegetation, glowing geological features, surreal coloured skies, and small planets visible above the horizon. Three aliens in the scene — one small and glowing, the other two more reserved. The environment should feel unearthly, dramatic, and filled with story potential."

1. Conceptual Intentions:
The shack was meant to appear organically built, not by tools but by the planet, shaped by time and life.
The landscape includes floating spores, bioluminescent plant life, and alien textures to suggest a place untouched by human history.
The sky features small planetary bodies to indicate multiple moons or sister planets, grounding the scene in science fiction.

The aliens were included to create an emotional connection. One of them, Illari, glows with inner energy to represent her bond with the planet, making her both character and symbol.

2. Post-Processing:
I enhanced the colour vibrancy and depth using digital editing tools to make the atmosphere feel more alien and surreal.
Minor composition refinements were made to centre the glowing figure and highlight the shack’s unusual structure.
I added soft edge lighting and shadows around the couple and the landscape to increase the cinematic impact.

My approach to art is both deeply personal and profoundly expressive. This piece is a collaboration between imagination and technology. It blends AI’s generative possibilities with my storytelling intent, creating an artwork that stands out visually and emotionally.
