I chose not to use a MACRO lens for this closeup. I have tried before but the results just didn't make the cut. The sweet spot of my best MACRO lens is too confined/narrow. So, cluster blossoms i.e. - Rhododendron, are never fully in focus unless from far away which necessitates a lot of cropping and loss of resolution. The 24-105L stopped down to f/20 was just the ticket. White Balance color reproduction was the nest issue. I couldn't get this shade of pink/lavender @ 5500K. I took a few takes at different WB shift points and settled on A2/M8. Thanks for looking... Bob
