This watercolour was gently layered on textured paper, of size 14"x17", allowing soft washes of ocean blue and sunlit cliffs to blend seamlessly. The flowers in the foreground — vivid orange poppies, delicate whites, and soft purples — were painted with loose, expressive strokes to capture the freshness of spring and the tender rhythm of coastal breezes.

The painting speaks of renewal, where the meeting of land and sea becomes a metaphor for change, resilience, and beauty in quiet coexistence. The wildflowers, thriving at the edge of cliffs, represent the courage to bloom even in uncertain terrain. The waves echo time's eternal flow, and the sky, with its subtle hues, hints at hope and stillness.
