| The outline of the animal is drawn on my graphics tablet, then I use a tool called rotation symmetry which makes the floral patterns. Then I colour in each individual sections and pick a background colour.

Flower Art Contest Contest Entry
My love for flowers led me to create this artwork. I have always been fascinated by hydrangeas and how the PH of the soil can determine the colour of the flower, whether it's a bright striking pink or a regal majestic blue. There are so many varieties and colours I just find them exquisite. My mother is a gardener so I have grown up around flowers and my love for plants and wildlife has only continued to grow. During the pandemic, I decided to come up with my own art style to portray my passion for wildlife. This was the first artwork I created for flowers and I hope that I have captured the hydrangea in all it's elegance. In my eyes it will always be a British garden favourite.
