Sunflowers in Summer Oil on Canvas 36" x 48" ( 3'x4') Painted in 2014

This painting was completed ten years ago during a season of quiet joy and reflection. Inspired by the sweeping fields and the radiant optimism sunflowers evoke, each brushstroke in this oil work captures the dance of light across a landscape in full bloom. The play of vivid yellows, warm earth tones, and undulating green hills is a tribute to natures generous paletteand to the enduring power of colour to uplift the spirit.

Still one of my personal favourites, this piece reminds me that some summers never fadethey live on in art.
