Mixed Media: None | The fantail fish is a sculpture in grey clay. The scales are silver beads and crystal beads set in the clay before drying ..the fins are enhanced with cotton strands set in the clay and the eye is a tiny gold filigree disc. The sculpture is set on a white board painted around the fish as a frame.

My first attempt at a sculpture. I am at my friend"s camp site and I am taking an art class and the theme is working with clay. So this is my practice piece. I got the idea from a plate hanging on a wall. A large fish was painted on it so I used it for reference. ,
