Mixed Media: Major | This was created from two separate images: 1) Photograph of rose 2) Photo of condensation in coke bottle ROSE .......... traced, cut out and saved image of rose__Copied rose and made transparent copy--- placed transparent rose over condensation and cut out shape of rose, outlined condensation rose petals ............... LEAVES and STEM ......... _traced, cut and saved one of the blurry leaves....... Copied leaf shape by placing over condensation and tracing, cut and saved... threw out original leaf........copied condensation leaf and turned to green and made transparent green overlay, outlined.................. FINISH ......When I had the copies I needed I placed the transparent condensation rose copy over the rose image.......then used soft edges on the original rose image to soften edges and create a watery looking rose........................BACKGROUND_ Cropped coke condensation image for background ......used gaussian blur,....radial foil filter. placed blue transparency over background.......Arranged above flower pieces over finished background

THis was one of those images that kept re-inventing itself. I created several different versions of the above, thinking each would be the final piece. In the end I softened the edges of the original rose beneath the condensation to give it a more watery look. I added Liquid Color II from Topaz for the final touch.
