When Sun Meets Moon

In this watercolour painting, I've tried to show the union of opposites in a gentle, poetic embrace. On the right, the Sun is depicted as a glowing golden face, serene and smiling, with eyes closed. Its rays resemble petals, blending naturally with the surrounding flowers. On the left, a woman’s face in cool shades of blue nestles against the Sun, her features calm and graceful, adorned with a small nose ring. Around them bloom vibrant flowers — sunflowers, fiery reds, and deep blues — symbolic of the harmony of day and night, warmth and coolness, masculinity and femininity, cosmic energy, and earthly life.

The whole image feels like a celebration of balance, love, and timeless rhythm.

"When Sun Meets Moon"
– Suggests the eternal dance of opposites merging into one.
