Great art work. I love how you did this. Birds always do make a wonderful add, but you almost made this the main object with the barn as a background. I love it. Great job again.

This looks like an old Chinese painting that you would find on 17th century porcelain. It is beautifully delicate and the background has a resemblance of wall silks. It really is a fabulous picture, Thanks for sharing

This has a very Japanese feel to it for me, like the colors and the bird makes a very nice addition with its splendid color, great detail like the purples of the flowers, very nice to view, well done..Brian

I really like the composition with the barn sitting in the background and the bird up front .The white in between sets them apart yet they still seem to go together.It is very creative and a lovely view.

Shawn, I think this is a very nice piece of work. I like the detail in the bird and in the leaves. I like the composition a lot...I think you lost some small details in the foreground next to the post. Also I would have carried out a little more color in the tress next to the cabin. Still it's done nicely. Jerry /!!!/

Shawn, I think this is a very nice piece of work. I like the detail in the bird and in the leaves. I love cardinals, but I have to say that the yellow on this bird looks terrific. In fact, all of the colors you have in this piece are lovely. They are working together to bring a feeling of peace and tranquility to the viewer. :)

I almost see two separate paintings here and find it hard to connect the bird and the house in the background - for me the bird stands very well as a picture on it's own and the house does not add anything, which is why I reluctantly deduct 1/2 a star.
