The composition is very pleasing. You have accomplished much depth with the decrease in size of trees and intensity of shades in the foreground. The leaves in the near tree resemble flower shapes and add interest to the picture. I also like the highlight of the water. Good job.

Excellent color and background. The foreground makes this feel full of wildlife and forest. Great choice of softness in the distant mountains to create that expanse. A lovely compilation of technique and texture. Well done!

Boy does this photo pop-out at you. The colors are so vivid with wonderful creativity of presentation. I love the trees outlined by the blue haze of the mountains. All of the colors are so wonderful together. This has great story telling ability. Wonderful lighting on the river itself.

Another wonderful landscape Shawn.. Very nice depth and the compositional elements are all in place.This is a photograph I want!..lol
I do see a couple things to ask about though..The tree in the foreground is not consistent with the conifers in the background? I also think just a slight hint of yellow at the back skyline may have been a good touch in the very light area that the fog is not obscuring?..Just my wandering mind (or whats left of it..) thinking here.
The creation is perfect as is anyway!...Dennis

Very nicely done. I love the silhouette effect against the wonderful blues of the river and mountains and sky. I also like the layers of mountains. The just add depth and substance. The lighting you created on the river is very nice. This work creates a peaceful atmosphere and feeling. Overall impact is very high and very pleasing.

Hi Shawn... Been a while since I have been on the site. Love to see that you are still sharing your work. I love this piece. The blue tones and the images of the trees in detail is very nice. There is so much depth throughout.. The highlights in the water sets it off. Very nice work.. as always.

I love your value changes in this piece. The smoke black sky at the top and the lighting on the water gives this piece lots of movement. The bottom half however is my favorite part of this piece. Where the long blades of grass are spiked out. Great job!
