Lucien, if anything I think its the dimensions of the kitty's head...maybe slightly smaller. It seemed a little distracting :)

Somehow it looks like an older piece as it is slightly more amateurish in a way. Perhaps due to the form in the cats face, not being quite correct? I generally find that you see things very well and FORM is something you excel at.

You did very well in meeting the challanges of the stipple drawing. It seems like a time consuming process. You have fine detail in the cat and the curtain. The expression on the face of the cat really tells how she feels about waiting!

yes, time is what it takes to do one like this alright! but most good artwork takes time to master the materials and then the technique andthen darwing, creating the actual piece. thank you forteh support and take care,
