Impact - ahhhh!
Color - love the dark earth against the very light sky.
Textures are good...I'm thinking I can actually feel the leaves in the foreground. nice horizone with the pines.

As always your work is just beautiful. Love the mix of water and fire. The flowers are such a bonus to this great piece. There is such destruction with fire but you have beauty to compensate. Excellent Joan

I like the title and the contrast of this photo. It seems that the fire has scorched the foreground and is moving to consume more trees. The water has that white silky sense of coolness. Nice work.

Your title adds strength and story telling capabilities to this piece. You have framed a beautiful waterfall well with the dark sides of the mountain face. You have marked it's decent by adding height into your piece. You have created an atmosphere that whispers of the coming day with the red just starting to appear behind the pines. The presentation of this piece draws you in, you have captured emotion and movement of nature in this piece. I like the added interest with the small red leaves in the bottom left -they tie in well with the sky directly across from it!
