Its a nice shot, i like the composition, but pillar on left hand side, seems blown away, lost details, and distracting the view, also i would have brighten the background. Overall nice shot.

It is indeed quite interesting, and I'm fond of the vertical orientation. The whole photo comes off as very inviting, with the open gate, the pleasant colors, and the plants in the background (mm, shade). Composition is excellent, photo is straight, and contrast between lights and darks keeps shapes well defined. However, I think the highlights are just a bit too bright here.. everything about the photo is inviting except the whites along the left border, which sort of scare me away. Overall, very well done though. Thanks for sharing!

Yet another very photograph. This has everything yet again, good lighting, superb colours, cropped well. Great technique and good centre of interest, focus very good, pin sharp. Lovely.

I love it. The shot and the name go great together. It is a great reminder that the gate is always open. The colors and lighting are good. Thanks for sharing.

I love this picture! It invites you in with the suggestion there are good things to see on the other side. I also like the way the stone path continues pulling your eye forward and makes you wonder what might be around the next curve. I also like the simplicity of only a few colors without bright reds or yellows that might distract you from the architectural shape of the gate, wall and planter.

I like the concept and the composition. Not as sharp as I would like to see and there are some overexposed areas on the wall and gate. Colors are ok. I'm not mad at you, but I'm not jumping up and down either.

The colour and exposure in this photograph is natural and the open gate gives one the feeling to walk through it.
Good center of interest and good story telling ability.
