Oh what stories have been told, and if walls could talk. What a great picture. I feel like I have grabbed a blanket and already snuggled up on the sofa! Nice framing, nice context, love the lighting, adds to old atmosphere. Thanks for posting a great photo.

Such a cosy fireside. This must be very satisfying to be part of the restoration. Nice shot of the fire. The lights at the side are a little distracting. Overall a cosy viewing

Very nice photo. It looks very warm and inviting. The artist notes are very interesting. I love the sepia tone of this one. Great capture of the flames. I would love to curl up with a good book right there. Nice job, thanks for sharing

this is a really neat picture its seems so warm and inviting i found myself looking around the picture as if i was actually in the house.teh only thing i would have changed is moving the chair out of the pic so that it wasnt taking away from the fireplace good job

I don't care about any of the 1.whatevers,
It looks like a very cozy, comfy place to be. Kind of "All I want is a room somewhere." Photographically, lovely except for the two hot spots , left and right of the fireplace. Like the feeling you captured. Enjoyed

Thank you very much Marieann for your comments and high marking. They are much appreciated. I did try with the chanderliers off, but it did not look right. Too dismal.

You have achieved a really great color tone on this image. I like the compositon, the chair just cutting into the corner is very nice. Good storytelling. The light from the windows is overly bright and a bit distracting.

Thanks for your remarks and marking. The light is from two wall chandeliers, As the roof is only 6ft we cannot have normal centre lights.

This is a very interesting shot, the detail is excellent the color gives a warmth to the picture and the focus on the fireplace pulls you in. Very nice technique thanks for sharing
