I put in a simialr image well, about death being the ugly part to life and it is. This is well captured it is ugle but more ugly than the death itself here is why this guy died. Man intruding on Nature and this is the result. This is not nature to die like this, it is what happens when man and animal conlide, the animal always loses. Your image is well done and your message as well. Thank you for sharing a sad realism.

Thank you so very much! My wife told me not to post it, she said it was gross! when I took this I was standing in the middle of the road, you get lost in the moment, and while I was doing this a car had stopped and was waiting on me. I bet they thought I was crazy. I guess I was a little!

You are right, this is so ugly. I hate to see it when animals are run over like this especially the deer. Raccoons are such neat little animals too. An excellent picture of a terrible loss. Good luck in the contest.
