This reminds me of the album Yield by Pearl Jam. It was some good music. So, in this photo it's good to see the speeding train because it just makes it obvious that cars need to yield. It may somehow apply to a situation besides the one in the physical world, but I wouldn't know that.

Yes we see some funny signs out there! Yield is a somewhat archaic term in this day and age. I immediately think of a knight standing over his opponent with a sword! Well done Frances

Great action shot. Focus on the subject is great and being off center makes the shot. I don't believe I have ever seen a Yield sign with a crossing sign.

Signs can always make great pictures. ithout the moving train behind, the humorous impact of the sign would not have been so great. Would look good enlarged.

Yes I have no idea why its there either!! In Australia we have "Give Way" signs that mean the same thing.
Anyway I like the motion you caught here, the sign actually works well for this photo.
