Lighting is great
Only thought - as long as you had the flower in there, maybe include the whole coursage???

Pretty good portrait, nice broad loop lighting, good expression, smaller eye positioned to the front. Lighting is a little harsh due to the flash but nice overall.

Very nice portrait, nicely lit, good colors, great expression (what kind eyes he has!). I really like the composition here, the 1/4 perspective I think shows him off better than a straight on shot would do. The only think I would suggest, and it looks like you might be using it, but is a diffuser on your flash. It doesn't look harsh so I'm assuming that you have one, but there are a few hot spots that I would like to see toned down a little - a little too shiny, if that makes sense. But overall, I really like it!
