This looks like you used auto focus with this shot. Your subjects are soft, but the door is sharp. I would have used manual focusing and refocused on the three girls. The outside is washed out. I would have used a flash and shot this using syncro-sun exposure. This is where you expose for the outside and use flash fill for the main subjects. A very good use of the door to frame you main subjects. A very nice photo for the family album.

A beautiful shot with the cute little girls and you did capture a beautiful moment! Nice sharp focus with lovely colors and good d.o.f.! I find the brightness in the doorway very distracting, and adjusting your light camera settings would have fixed the problem or the use of a filter. I realize it is hard to get a nice shot without blowing the b.g. out in such bright sunlight at a moments notice! The focal point is wonderful!!
