I love relaxing paintings and this one ticks all the boxes for me. I feel I could just step into the picture and take a seat.

The landscape is exellent. A spring beauty. The light colors and are outstanding. I think I probably would like it even better without the bench. It is not because the posts are off. That dosn't show off if not pointed out. I just think that landscape don't need a bench as attraction. It is beautiful by itself; the bench just draws the eyes away from natures beauty. But with or without bench; it is a beautiful picture.

Thanks again, I must be getting to the point where I am overly critical with my work ;)

Can't hurt to be critical with oneself, better than the opposite.

Another beauty and great recreation of the bench! You changed the leaf colors and like the two seasons you captured with both paintings! Great work and the realism is wonderful with the trees and of course the bench! Awesome work of art Corrina!

Very nicely done. I wish I could do this, the colors you used are very nice and bright, the trees make it very appealing as well, good job

Corrina, This is a lovely piece. The bench looks realistic. The reality of life is that nothing is truly perfect. People are not symmetrical and objects are not either. I love this piece. The setting is magical and peaceful. Your color choices are fantatic and the lighting is spectacular. We are going to notice things that bug us about our own art... kind of like a "flaw" such as a freckle that we hate... You are and continue to accomplish some great goals you have been working towards. Your landscapes are perfect in how they make people feel. As someone with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder your art means a lot to me.
Sorry for going on and on. You are one of my favorites on this site. I just wanted to share how special your art is to me.

Gina you have no idea how much this review has touched me. I have been going through a bit of a lull again, wondering what it is Im doing exactly. With the show yesterday everyone seemed to be flocking towards my memories painting and as much as people said lovely things about these landscapes I only sold one painting and that wasn't one of these. They all seemed to love the other styles, especially the children. It really made me rethink what I was doing.
I was all set for doing some of these on bigger canvases but now Im confused, I dont know whether to go back to what I did before. What I loved about your review is what you said you got out of these pieces, that is exactly what I wanted to achieve and Im so touched that they actually say something a bit more than heres a landscape. You have made me believe in myself again. I was so close on giving up on them but I will recreate a few larger landscape scenes in this style.
I think I will have to do a few more illustrative paintings as well just to test the water. Thank you so much Gina you have helped me immensely xx

Thank you so much Mr Jones, well I thought I would beat people to it lol.It is really strange how I dont pick up on things until its on screen. The day I dont see any flaws on here then I know I have nailed it. Not sure about quality art but trying to splash a bit of colour back into the old place :)
