Great detail in this bird with it's dirty beak. The feathers are wonderful in detail. The clarity of the beak make me want to stay away from him if he is hungry as well. Good luck in the contest and thanks for sharing, Keri

He does have a dirty beak. Maybe you should provide napkins as well. I love the lighting, focus and close-up. The background blur really shows off the cardinal to the best advantage. Great composition.
