What a nice relaxing picture. The chair plays tricks on the eye first the arms look pointing out to the water then it looks like a side view. Love the nice purple/blue tones. Thanks for sharing.

This looks like pointillism, except for the chair which doesn't look like pointillism. Your image provides sooth-ness to my soul, like a balm. It causes us to slow down, instead of speeding up.
Compositionally well placed is your chair giving room for movement, the cropping is thought out by you and is appreciated by the viewer for it gives a really nice balanced feel, a comfortable feel.
How savvy you are as an artist. YOU KNOW that purple is a spiritual colour and enhances relaxation (it's also the colour of nobility. The placement of yellow energy pops to give energy to enjoy what we see to take nourishment from the calmness to heal and to be whole again. This is the kind of image I would like to hang in my YOGA studio.
I like the simplicity and I personally am a great believer that Simple equals Stronger equals Better and you just prove this point with your art.
If I could make a small observation. I would have liked to see a touch more foreground for added stability, just a bit more sand, to rest comfortably upon!
From your drawing skills to your compositional skills this image is a delight, pure and simple.

I like the back ground here. The rocking chair plays with your eyes on the angles of the chair,one time it looks way off angle and the next it is right on. Good effect! I like it! Good storyline also. Thanks for sharing!

Very interesting. I can't say that I have ever seen a rocking chair at the beach, but it sounds like a good idea.. as long as it can rock in the sand. Love the colors in this.

I love the idea of the rocking chair on the beach.
However when you look at the chair, you cannot tell if the front is the back, side or side. I confuses me/ Try straightening up the portions of the arms which is the reason for the 4 stars. If you straighten it up, I will review it again for you.

it is stil confusing to look at as a side view of chair. But since you did give your exclaimation you will get an updated review with a 4 and 1/2 stars instead of the original 4.

I really like the simplicity of this piece. The color scheme is light and airy. Very appropriate for beach. Lines are crisp & concise. Chair is great color but could use a bit more detail. Overall, nice job.
