Wow, I love all the different textures and colors in your mushroom. Did the gardener act a little strange? Maybe he had a bite for lunch. lol! Very good color and clarity and very good notes to go along with this very interesting little oddity of Nature. I enjoyed reviewing this!

I have looked at your shot a few times.I like it for its simpliserty.Just a shame the red colour wasn't more intense.But good fore ground focus and blurring.

Thanks for your feedback, as stated in notes this variety does not become that amazing red of the others I photographed last year. (See my Vegetation book)

Great ground level photo. It is the only way to take these. Excellent focus and very sharp. Good work on showing the gills of the mushroom and thanks for the information.

Yes it does look like something had a nibble on this fellow. I like the angel and the clarity of the main element of the composition. the thing that seems a little distracting is all the out of focus negative space, that blurriness both in the lower half and upper half, for me it draws the eye away from the mushroom to quickly and creates a conflict that is difficult to reconcile. I think the negative space needs to be controlled better and then it would be a really great image as I'm seeing it.

ME ME ME ME !! i did it and it made me grow up to be biug and strong. you know it is a shame that Alice didnt make it out of wonderland...i took her place...evil grin...lol../just teasing. its a good capture. the clarity is good. the angle o fthe shot is goood. the cropping is good. the capture of the light is good. overall good job.
