Hello Mary, im sorry to here you have had a bad time, However, i also take great comfort from my garden! I fully agree with you, in that flowers and all thing gardeny can lift the spirits. Hyasinth is in my garden, and the same colour as yours! powerfuly sented, and does lift you everytime you walk on by. Your photograph is very well focused, giving a soothing visual impact! the colour is superb too. I have seen many flowers today, due to the contests voting booths! and this one stands out along with the best. I also think that your photograph will make the most wonderful giftcard. Yes they are beautiful and very nicely presented. I like the way you have the light on the front one.Very good work with the setting to get this one. Maybe I need some of them. I lost my photo computer and I been restoring files yesterday and hope it is ready to go today.

This has eye catching color and the lighting is very soft and relaxing. It is kindo of strange that the one flower at the bottom is overexposed though. Good use of the black towel to isolate the subject from any distractions. Good job!

wow...i keep telling myself i'm NOT gonna critique another flower shot...and then i see one that draws me too it, like this one. and as usual, it's the color and composition...vibrant purple and green against a subdued background...good job
