Wonderful initial impact and focal point. Good job on the pops of yellow throughout the grass, gives accent to the yellow hat. Nice portrayal of the woman on a summer day and the pose is so fitting and natural. Overall good job.

I love the composition of this image. I like that the same yellow used in the grass is also the color of the hat. I'm not so sure about the choice of using black for the band/ribbon on the hat. I appreciate the style that you used to create the texture of the grass. Overall very pleasing image.

Marguarite, this is a happy image full of sunny colours of lemony yellow,lime green, gentlepastels...it looks good enough to eat!
That composition into the third grid of the yellow hat is where it is supposed to be but what I really find fascinating is that same yellow is in the background of the green overlay, so we just see hints of yellow again and that, quite frankly, I find magnetizing.
Your drawing is well done in good proportions and that arm falling out of the frame gives so much meaning to the story of R E L A X and L E T G O. Something that we in this frenzied world should do more of.
Your image sings of the dog days of summer, of cool breezes and of sherbert and when you can elicit all that from a viewer you know you have created art.
