This is a lovely capture of the bud just starting to unfold to reveal while innocence. I also like the mottled unfurling leaf. Did you realize you had some sort of pond spirit lurking in the water with a beady eye and sharp chin? I wonder what unwary creature she is waiting to catch.

Impact 5, color t, reflections and lighting 5, harmony 5, creativity 5 like that the white flower attracts my eye but the dark foilage balances the picture. Very nice. I love lily pads.

I like water lily very much. The image is well frame with strong contrast effect. The color of the flower is gentle but due to contrast, it stands out quite strongly. The flower even appears to emit the gentle light. I like the mood creation of this. Thank you for sharing.

Sort of an unusual composition! I like the darkness, we can see what is there, but it becomes secondary to the lotus..that seems to glow with an inner light..really nice! Donkeyoatey

This a lovely capture of the water lily. I like the way it's framed by it's leaves. and coming out of the water the way it does. The lighting and focus on it is good. The only thing I would do myself is maybe lighten the gray tones of the leaves on the right. They seem to overpower the lily. Otherwise it is a great shot.

Waterlilies are such wonderful plants with fantastic blooms. Like the composition showing a bud rather than an open flower. Lily pads around it help with the composition but I feel the right hand side of the frame is too dark. I can just about see one lily paid opening. Framing is very good as is focus. Feel the shot would be better balanced though with more light to the right hand side.
