A most beautiful picture of this pair of Cats with the most realistic eyes I feel they are trying to read your inner thoughts they way cats do. The way you have drawn the fur makes me want to stretch out & stroke them & hear them purr. A wonderful composition skillfully drawn with realistic selection of colours beautifully applied.

Thanks for both your replies. The picture well deserved the six. If I could I'd have a cat as well as Madam Juno~Dog but she has too much of a Jack Russell Terrier in her make up & firmly believes all cats are put on the earth for her to chase away. Mind you my Tortie cat believed her role was to tease all the local dogs.

Madam Juno sounds like a lot of dogs who like to chase cats! Years ago we used to have 2 Border Collies and 3 cats but as we already had the cats when the puppies arrived, they all got on really well, in fact one of the cats used to come with me on the cliff top when I took the dogs for a walk to the beach! Much to the amusement of some of my neighbours. Suzanne

I like this painting a lot! The green and blue eyes are wonderfully done. The eyes drew me right into the panting. The one cat on the left's face looks a tad strange to me--maybe because it loooks like he has a mustache. :)

High initial impact! Love at first sight. These two are Adorable. Love the way, you've painted and colored the eyes! The textures of their soft fur and their whiskers are very prominent. Excellent framing. Well done.

I just love the jewel-like green and blue eyes of these two cuties - an it sounds like they are destined to be friends for life. They do form stable friendships, and I'm a strong advocate of multi-cat or at least multi-pet households. You have done a great job with the soft fur.

Truly a beautiful pairs of eyes here. I think you did an excellent job with this work of art. It is so truly amazing how good these two babies look side by side. The white one with the blue eyes really reminds me of one we had that looked so much like that but got killed. Blue eyed cats are so very beautiful. And of course the big green eyes are very pretty too. You have lovely babies. I love the detail you added into your art work and I think you used excellent color and drawing skills to complete this drawing. And chalk is to me one of the hardest mediums to use. You did a great job.

These are really adorable cats. I really like the ragdoll cats. But my favorite one of the two is Smudge. Such a pretty face and eyes. They look so sweet together. Good luck in the contest!

Cats are the hook for me, so have to check this out! I think I know the artist, although fooled on occasion! Darling little Ragdoll, with the beautiful blue eyes with the color carried into the background-most effective. Smudge looks like a 'big brother' looming large next to the little kitten. His one eye looks off, but may be the upload - I know I have problems with distortion sometimes when a very large work is resized! Very nice illustration style! jean
